A blooming case of spring fever is the reason for our April paddling event today. We have nine participants eager to come out of hibernation and paddle on the Raisin River. We choose to launch at Avonmore Road and head towards St. Andrews, a distance of about eleven kilometers, finishing where tomorrow’s canoe race will begin, thus avoiding the rapids.
